About The Position

Align Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in clients’ homes. Caregivers are matched with clients based on skill level, experience, preferences, availability, travel radius, interests, and personality. Before a new client’s first shift, the team provides support so caregivers understand the care plan, expectations, and routines. The role offers flexible scheduling and pay of $19.50–$23.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have one of the following: CNA certification, expired CNA certification, PSS certification, or DSW certification; candidates without a valid certification must be willing to complete the required DSW training class.
• At least one year of senior caregiving experience, professional or personal.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Dedication, reliability, dependability, punctuality, and attentiveness.
• Genuine interest in caring for seniors, with patience, compassion, and good listening skills.
• Two professional references.
• Smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, toileting, and dressing.
• Help with feeding, transferring, and walking.
• Provide medication reminders and prepare meals.
• Run errands and provide transportation.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship.
