In-Home Senior Caregivers with a CNA/Exp. CNA/PSS or DSW - $19.50-$23.50/hr
About The Position
Align Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated caregivers with CNA, PSS, or DSW credentials or experience to provide one-on-one care to seniors in clients’ homes. Caregivers are matched with clients based on their skills, experience, preferences, availability, travel radius, interests, and personality. The team provides support before a caregiver meets a new client, including information about the care plan, expectations, and routines. The role offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay. Care may include personal assistance, mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, errands and transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Candidates without a valid certification must be willing to complete the required DSW training class.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- One of the following: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), expired CNA, PSS (Personal Support Specialist), or DSW (Direct Support Worker) certification.
- Willingness to complete the required DSW training class if the candidate has no valid certifications.
- At least 1 year of senior caregiving experience, professional or personal.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid driver's license, auto registration, and insurance.
- Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Dedication, reliability, dependability, punctuality, and attentiveness.
- Genuine interest in caring for seniors, with patience, compassion, and good listening skills.
- Two professional references.
- Smart phone.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Assist with feeding, transferring, and walking.
- Provide medication reminders and prepare meals.
- Run errands and provide transportation.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship.
- Review and follow each client's care plan, expectations, and routines.
