Hiring Experienced Caregivers (HHA, CNA, or PCA)
About The Position
TheKey is hiring experienced CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs to support clients in Torrington, Watertown, Harwinton, and New Hartford, Connecticut. Caregivers provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes, supporting personal care, companionship, mobility, and transportation. The role offers pay of $20–$23 per hour and full-time or part-time schedule options, with shifts available during days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. TheKey describes its local teams as providing support to caregivers as they help aging adults and build meaningful relationships with clients. Caregivers must meet applicable state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. Additional eligibility requirements, compensation, benefits, and bonuses may vary by state and location.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- Valid HHA, PCA, or CNA license.
- Comply with state background screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
- Provide companionship through social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
- Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
