About The Position

Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a part-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations in the Denver, Colorado area. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with health plan members and helping connect them with care suited to their needs. Visits take approximately 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, time to answer health questions, and additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and a clinical workflow and are not required to prescribe medication, order lab tests, or change a member’s current treatment regimen.

The primary workplace is members’ private residences. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants. The role may also involve virtual visits and local travel within licensed states as needed. The position is part-time, with 29.5 anticipated weekly hours, and pays $105.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted physician license(s) in the coverage area(s).
• Ability to cover Arapahoe and Douglas counties.
• Ability to comfortably and safely perform duties in members’ homes, which may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home health evaluations, including medication and medical history reviews and physical evaluations.
• Answer members’ health questions and provide time for one-on-one discussions during visits.
• Perform additional diagnostic tests when ordered by a member’s health plan, including services such as spirometry and diabetic eye exams.
• Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
• Conduct virtual visits as needed.
• Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
• Provide Signify Health services as indicated, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products.
• Fulfill the requirements of the specified clinician role and contribute to efforts to improve health outcomes and connect members with appropriate care.
