About The Position

Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a part-time physician to provide in-home health evaluations and help bridge gaps in care. Physicians visit health plan members in their homes, build trusted relationships, and help connect people with care suited to their needs. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review and physical evaluation, with additional diagnostic tests when ordered by the member’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and a clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medication, order lab tests, or change a person’s current treatment regimen. The role may also include virtual visits and local travel within licensed states.

The primary workplace is members’ private residences. Home environments vary and may include household pets, secondhand smoke, and other airborne allergens or irritants; candidates must be able to perform duties comfortably and safely in these conditions. The position is part-time, with 29.5 anticipated weekly hours. The stated pay range is $105.00 per hour. Part-time employees qualify for select benefits, malpractice insurance during Signify Health-related activities, supplies, and other perks. Additional benefit eligibility may depend on hours worked and other criteria.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted physician license(s) in the coverage area(s).
• Ability to comfortably and safely perform duties in homes that may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home health evaluations for health plan members.
• Review members’ medications and medical histories and conduct physical evaluations.
• Perform additional diagnostic and preventive services when indicated, such as spirometry, diabetic eye exams, or bone density screening.
• Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
• Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
• Conduct virtual visits as needed.
• Provide Signify Health services indicated for the role.
• Help connect members with appropriate care and communicate relevant health information to their care teams.
