In-Home Physician Part Time - Akron
About The Position
Signify Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a part-time physician to provide In-Home Health Evaluations in members’ homes and help bridge gaps in care. The role focuses on building trusted relationships and providing flexible, comprehensive, and personalized health evaluations. Visits last about 45 minutes and include a medication and medical history review, a physical evaluation, and any additional diagnostic tests ordered by the member’s health plan. Physicians use an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow. They are not required to prescribe medicine, order lab tests, or alter a member’s current treatment regimen. The physician will work as part of a national network of clinicians focused on improving health outcomes and connecting people with care suited to their needs. The role may include local travel and travel within licensed states, virtual visits as needed, and delivery of Signify Health services, including diagnostic and preventive services. The primary workplace is members’ private residences. Home environments vary and may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, or other airborne allergens or irritants. Candidates must be able to perform their duties comfortably and safely in these environments. This part-time role is listed at 29.5 anticipated weekly hours, with a stated pay range of $105.00 per hour. Part-time employees qualify for select benefits and malpractice insurance coverage during Signify Health-related activities. Requirements
- Active, unrestricted physician license(s) in the coverage area(s).
- Ability to comfortably and safely perform duties in members’ homes, which may contain household pets, secondhand smoke, or other airborne allergens or irritants.

Responsibilities
- Provide In-Home Health Evaluations in members’ homes, including medication and medical history reviews and physical evaluations.
- Perform additional diagnostic tests when ordered by a member’s health plan, such as diabetic eye exams, spirometry, or bone density screening.
- Use an iPad and the clinical workflow for each evaluation.
- Build trusted relationships and help connect people with care suited to their needs.
- Travel locally and within licensed states as needed.
- Conduct virtual visits as needed.
- Provide Signify Health services as indicated, including diagnostic and preventive services.
- Work as a clinician colleague and fulfill the requirements of the specified role.
