About The Position

Senior Helpers of Pasadena caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent in their homes. Caregivers are matched with seniors according to their area of expertise and help clients with daily activities while building supportive relationships. The role is suited to caring, compassionate people who enjoy helping others, take pride in making a difference, and are interested in professional growth.

Requirements

• Passion for helping others.
• Enjoyment of customer service and communicating with clients.
• Interest in helping the community and making a difference in someone’s life.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiver experience; HCA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients through engaging conversations.
• Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies and activities, such as scrapbooking, gardening, and games.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Assist clients with walking, personal care, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
• Report completed activities and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
