About The Position

Home Instead is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes in Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Independence, Seven Hills, North Royalton, Richfield, Sagamore Hills, Macedonia, Hinckley, and surrounding communities. The role welcomes both experienced caregivers and people new to caregiving. No certification is required; training is provided.

The position offers starting pay of $16 per hour, with higher rates based on experience, an additional $2 per hour weekend premium, and a 90-day review with a potential increase of up to $1 per hour. Next-day pay is available. Schedules may be full-time, part-time, or weekends. Caregivers receive paid training, ongoing skill development, 24/7 office support, and career growth opportunities, while building meaningful one-on-one relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Be compassionate, reliable, and professional.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Be willing to learn and provide quality care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• STNAs, CNAs, HHAs, and individuals new to caregiving are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
• Support client mobility and provide medication reminders.
• Communicate with the office and document care.
