About The Position

Village Caregiving is hiring a part-time caregiver for a Monday through Friday day-shift position in Merrill, Wisconsin. The caregiver provides non-medical care and support to clients in their homes, helping with daily activities and tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, errands, light housekeeping, companionship, and medication reminders. The role requires a passion for helping others and dedication to providing quality care.

The position pays $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with semi-monthly pay and opportunities for growth and advancement. A 401(k) with company match is offered after six months of employment. Employees also have access to DailyPay to access wages on the same day as work, if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes.
• Help clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and dishes.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings as required.
