About The Position
Senior Helpers Caregivers provide one-on-one, non-medical personal home care to help clients remain safe and independent in their homes. Caregivers build relationships with clients and their families, provide assistance suited to their areas of expertise, and help clients maintain quality of life and independence. The role involves supporting clients with everyday activities, engaging them in conversations and favorite hobbies, and reporting on completed activities and changes in their physical condition, mental capacity, or behavior. Senior Helpers provides in-home senior assistance services, including personal, transitional, companion, and respite care, as well as Alzheimer's and dementia care and Parkinson’s care. The company aims to provide a genuine in-home connection and a high standard of care and customer service.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable, insured transportation.
- Passion for helping others.
- Enjoys customer service and communicating with clients.
- Wants to help the community and make a difference in someone’s life.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one personal home care to help clients remain safe and independent at home.
- Build relationships with clients through engaging conversations.
- Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies and activities, such as gardening, games, and outings.
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Report activities completed with clients and provide updates on their physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
