Caregiver / Home Care Aide - All Shifts Available - Immediate Hire
About The Position
HomeWell Care Services of Chattanooga is hiring dependable caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide non-medical home care to seniors and adults. The role supports clients with daily living tasks so they can remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Caregivers provide companionship, prepare meals, give medication reminders, perform light housekeeping, assist with mobility, and help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. The role does not involve medical procedures such as IVs or wound care. Caregivers are expected to be reliable, communicate clearly and promptly, honor scheduled shifts, and work independently. They must protect each client's dignity, privacy, safety, independence, choices, and quality of life. Assignments are local and matched close to the caregiver's home. Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are available.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliability, clear communication, punctuality, and commitment to scheduled shifts.
- Applicants may be experienced professional caregivers or CNAs, have equivalent certifications, have proven experience caring for a family member or loved one, or be nursing or healthcare students seeking patient-interaction hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and daily support to clients in their homes.
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist clients with mobility and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Protect clients’ dignity, privacy, safety, independence, choices, and quality of life.
- Commit to scheduled shifts and communicate promptly when issues arise.
- Work independently.
