About The Position

Caregivers are hired to support a male client in Claremont who is diabetic, ambulatory, and described as very neat. Day, mid, and overnight shifts are available, with weekend work available. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a comfortable living environment, preparing meals, providing mobility and personal-care assistance, and communicating with families and care staff. The employer provides PPE and follows state COVID-19 guidelines.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of professional caregiving experience in a facility setting or with a home care agency is preferred.
• HCA license with the State of California is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ongoing care needs and collaborate with families and care staff.
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
• Assist clients with daily living activities.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with ambulation and transferring.
• Drive clients to appointments and shopping.
• Assist with bathing and dressing.
