About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring part-time Home Caregivers for clients in York, Dover, Shrewsbury, and Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. The position offers up to full-time hours depending on flexibility, availability, and demand, with flexible scheduling for days, overnights, and weekends. Caregivers provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
• Must be dependable and display a positive attitude.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• CNA license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Give medication reminders.
• Run household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking and transfers.
