About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities and helping ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare settings, including geriatrics and emergency medicine, and is committed to delivering high-quality care. This is a full-time, in-person position in Houston, Texas.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ability to work independently with reliability and professionalism.
• Compassionate nature and a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between client homes if required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field, particularly in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers, teaching hospitals, or inpatient care environments.
• Familiarity with geriatric care principles and emergency medicine practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with meal preparation and planning to meet clients’ nutritional needs.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities.
• Observe changes in clients’ physical or mental condition and report concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility using appropriate techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and needs.
