About The Position

AmeriCare Plus, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide in-home personal care and companionship to a female client in Nellysford, Virginia. The home is non-smoking and has no pets. The listed schedule is four hours every other week, preferably Wednesday; additional hours may be available for someone willing to travel. The position may suit a CNA, NA, or PCA, and online training is provided for those interested in PCA certification.

Requirements

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for those interested in PCA certification.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver's license.
• Social Security card and two professional references.
• Must pass a background check in accordance with state and federal requirements.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Respectful and professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with or appreciation for veterans.
• Willingness to travel for additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers, such as transfers from bed to wheelchair.
• Prepare light meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's health or behavior.
