About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring CNAs, NAs, and PCAs to provide high-quality, compassionate in-home personal care to clients in Windsor, Virginia. Caregivers support clients with daily activities and provide companionship in the comfort of their homes. The listed schedule is Monday through Sunday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are available. Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for people interested in PCA work.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card and two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
