About The Position

Senior Solutions Home Care is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes in Hamilton County, Tennessee. Caregivers provide one-on-one assistance that helps clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. The role is open to experienced caregivers, CNAs, DSPs, home health aides, and people new to home care; paid training and ongoing support are provided. Schedules may be full-time, part-time, or PRN and are built around client needs, caregiver availability and location, and willingness to travel. Shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, and caregivers may serve one or multiple clients in a day or week. Schedules may change as client needs change. Pay starts at $16 per hour, with additional premiums available for eligible CNA certification, certain hours, and qualifying client assignments. Paid travel time is provided. Caregivers complete required online training within their first 30 days and may receive additional training or certifications based on location. Eligible caregivers may pursue NADSP E-Badge credentials (DSP I, II, and III), with the opportunity to earn up to $4,150 in program bonuses, subject to program requirements.

Requirements

Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
A second acceptable form of employment eligibility identification.
Reliable transportation.
Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform assigned care duties.
Successful completion of required background checks and drug screening.
Strong communication skills.
Work/activity history accounting for the past five years.
Three references, including one person who has known the applicant for at least five years; email addresses are required.

Nice To Haves

Active Tennessee CNA certification for eligibility for the CNA hourly premium.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, changing, toileting, and grooming.
Support activities of daily living and mobility.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Do laundry and provide medication reminders.
Assist with transfers and other authorized care tasks.
Provide transportation and run errands when needed and authorized.
Complete required online training within the first 30 days and participate in additional training or certifications as applicable.
