About The Position

Senior Solutions Home Care is hiring in-home caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in Davidson County, Tennessee. Caregivers help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes. The company provides training and support, including required online training within the first 30 days and additional training or certifications based on location. Eligible caregivers may pursue NADSP E-Badge credentials (DSP I, II, and III), with the opportunity to earn up to $4,150 in program bonuses, subject to program requirements. The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN scheduling. Shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, with schedules based on client needs, caregiver availability, location, and willingness to travel. Caregivers may serve one or multiple clients per day or week. Schedules may change as client needs change. Starting base pay is $16 per hour, with additional premiums potentially available for eligible caregivers and assignments.

Requirements

Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
Second acceptable form of employment eligibility identification.
Reliable transportation.
Smartphone for scheduling and communication.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform assigned care duties.
Successful completion of required background checks and drug screening.
Strong communication skills.
Work or activity history accounting for the past five years.
Three references, including one person who has known the applicant for at least five years; email addresses are required.

Nice To Haves

Car insurance is preferred.
Active Tennessee CNA certification may qualify caregivers for a $1-per-hour CNA premium.
Flexible availability and willingness to travel may provide more opportunities to receive desired hours.
Eligible caregivers may pursue NADSP E-Badge credentials (DSP I, II, and III).

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, changing, toileting, and grooming.
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Handle laundry and provide medication reminders.
Perform transfers and other authorized care tasks.
Provide transportation and run errands when needed and authorized.
Complete required online training within the first 30 days and any additional training or certifications required based on location.
