About The Position

Kick-start a career in B2B integration by working on enterprise EDI and integration projects. The Implementation Engineer builds foundational skills in EDI, APIs, data mapping, and business process automation while learning from experienced engineers in a structured development environment. The role analyzes client data, integration requirements, and business processes to design, build, and implement customized solutions. It also involves learning Cleo Integration Suite functionality and implementation procedures, providing strong customer service, and ensuring solutions are configured and technically deployed accurately, on time, and to specification. The engineer works with team members and other departments to complete projects and walks clients through their current architecture and proposed new architecture. The role uses AI tools across the software lifecycle to accelerate project delivery, support coding and debugging, resolve errors, understand APIs and documentation, and draft technical documents and test cases. AI-generated output must be validated before use.

Requirements

Basic understanding of EDI, integration concepts, and data formats.
Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, AS2, HTTP/S, or similar communication protocols.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a willingness to learn.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience.
Ability to use AI tools and validate AI-generated technical output.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent.
Exposure to Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) or other B2B integration platforms.
Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or retail domains.
Basic programming or scripting skills in Java or Python.
Interest in AI and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze data, integration requirements, and business processes to design, build, and implement customized solutions for Cleo clients.
Develop expertise in Cleo Integration Suite functionality and implementation procedures.
Provide excellent customer service so customers receive value from Cleo solutions.
Ensure customer solutions are configured and technically deployed accurately, on time, and to specification.
Work effectively with team members and other departments to complete projects successfully.
Walk clients through their current architecture and explain what their new architecture would look like.
Use AI to accelerate project delivery, including drafting implementation plans, summarizing customer requirements, and generating documentation.
Use AI coding assistants to generate, debug, and review code snippets.
Prompt AI tools to resolve errors, understand APIs, and navigate documentation.
Draft technical documents and test cases with AI assistance, validating outputs before use.
Use AI tools across the software lifecycle.
