About The Position

Q2 is seeking an Implementation Engineer to lead the technical build and delivery of its Centrix Risk & Fraud Management solutions. This hands-on, consultative role configures and architects integrations between Q2 platforms and external systems, including online banking applications, core processing systems, and third-party services, often in Azure-hosted environments. The engineer serves as the Centrix product expert on each project, learns how each client operates, recommends best practices, and clarifies what clients need to do to go live. The role works directly with clients, Project Managers, and cross-functional partners in Sales, Product, Engineering, and Hosting. It uses Salesforce to manage and track cases and project status, and requires translating technical information into actionable terms for clients and project partners. The Implementation Engineer is expected to own complex problems from discovery through go-live while building solutions and managing client relationships. Q2 describes a supportive, inclusive culture that prioritizes career growth, collaboration, and wellness. The company offers hybrid work opportunities, flexible time off, career development and mentoring, health and wellness benefits, community volunteering, company philanthropy, and employee peer recognition. The position requires fluent written and oral English communication. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Understanding of database design and TSQL query language as related to enterprise software configuration, installation, and debugging.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, and ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent people and teamwork skills, with ownership of activities and focus on successful completion.
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; Q2 is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
