About The Position
Netafim Irrigation India PVT LTD, the Indian subsidiary of Netafim LTD, is hiring an Executive Implementation Engineer to support irrigation project implementation. The position involves planning irrigation project components from the pump station or head control unit through to the emitter; applying expertise in irrigation system components; preparing bills of materials; selecting large-diameter manifolds; reviewing installation drawings; and providing technical support to company subsidiaries in coordination with corporate teams. Netafim is a global provider of smart irrigation solutions, operating through 29 subsidiaries and 17 manufacturing plants, with 4,300 employees and customers in over 110 countries. Founded in 1965, the company pioneered drip irrigation. Netafim Irrigation India began operations in 2001 and has two manufacturing plants, 1,000 employees, and 10 locations in India.
Requirements
- Degree in Agricultural Engineering or qualification as a Mechanical Technician.
- At least 2–3 years of practical field experience installing irrigation projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage and communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Responsibilities
- Plan all components of irrigation projects, from the pump station or head control unit to the emitter.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of pumping solutions, filtration assemblies, valve mechanisms, fittings, and ancillary accessories.
- Prepare the bill of materials (BOM), ensuring all required components are included.
- Design and select large-diameter manifolds for irrigation systems.
- Review complete installation drawing sets for project details and systems.
- Provide technical support to company subsidiaries in coordination with corporate teams.
