About The Position

Accenture Flex is hiring a Database Administrator for a fixed-duration, project-based role. The position is onsite Monday through Friday in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, with work performed in the employee’s local metro area to reduce or eliminate travel. The administrator will design, implement, and maintain databases; install database management systems; establish routine maintenance procedures; and resolve database-related issues. The role requires deep technical knowledge of IBM AS/400 RPG III and database administration. The Database Administrator will optimize database structures and system efficiency, analyze performance trends, and recommend improvements to reliability and speed. The position also involves collaborating across teams, supporting colleagues with complex problem solving, contributing to administration best practices, and taking responsibility for team decisions and key decisions within and across teams.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as a DBA for IBM AS/400 RPG III.
Expert proficiency in IBM AS/400 RPG III.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Advanced proficiency in database management, database optimization, tuning, database performance management, and database activity monitoring is suggested.
