About The Position
Accenture Flex is hiring a Database Administrator for a fixed-duration, project-based role. The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases, including installing database management systems, developing routine maintenance procedures, and resolving database-related issues. The role requires expert proficiency in IBM AS/400 RPG III and involves optimizing database structures and system efficiency, analyzing performance trends, and recommending improvements to database reliability and speed. The Database Administrator is expected to serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate across multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, take responsibility for team decisions, and help the team perform effectively. The role also includes sharing expertise, assisting with complex problem solving, aligning database solutions with business objectives, and contributing to database administration and maintenance best practices. The client requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, reducing or eliminating travel demands.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a DBA for IBM AS/400 RPG III.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Expert proficiency in IBM AS/400 RPG III.
- Onsite presence Monday through Friday in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
