About The Position

A distinguished provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join its Baltimore, Maryland team. The company has provided services since 1951 and emphasizes service excellence, serving as customers’ single point of contact for planned maintenance and emergency services.

The technician will inspect, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment and associated components, including rooftop units, mini splits, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and large-tonnage split systems. Duties also include replacing components such as pump seals, motor bearings, air filters, belts, and sheaves, and performing routine maintenance and inspections.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman license.
• Universal CFC certification.
• Factory training.
• Combustion, compressor, and refrigerant training or classes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment and associated components.
• Work with rooftop units, mini splits, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and large-tonnage split systems.
• Replace pump seals, motor bearings, air filters, belts, sheaves, and other components.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
