About The Position

Papalia Home Services is hiring a Residential HVAC Service Manager in Boxborough, Massachusetts. The role leads the residential HVAC service department and its day-to-day field operations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The manager oversees and mentors HVAC technicians, supports service troubleshooting, installations, and repairs, and balances field support with administrative responsibilities. The position also focuses on operational efficiency, team performance, customer satisfaction, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in team leadership or service management within HVAC or related industries.
• Deep understanding of residential HVAC systems and service processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage operational details, scheduling, and team coordination.
• Comfort balancing field support with administrative duties.
• Track record of leading teams toward measurable growth and performance.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the residential HVAC service department, managing day-to-day field operations.
• Supervise and mentor HVAC technicians to maintain performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive team accountability and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage technician schedules, dispatch logistics, and job prioritization to maximize efficiency.
• Provide direction and support for troubleshooting, installations, and repairs.
• Monitor department KPIs and service metrics, implementing process improvements where needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize service delivery and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company protocols.
• Address escalated customer concerns and ensure service excellence.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training to build a strong team.
