About The Position

As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you will support licensed technicians and installers with setting up and installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses while developing hands-on trade skills. This field-based role involves daily travel to residential and commercial job sites and may require evening, weekend, or overtime work depending on project schedules. The work takes place indoors and outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces or varying weather conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocols.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Enrollment in or interest in an HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program.

Responsibilities

Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring.
Prepare tools, materials, and work areas; perform basic measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembly tasks under supervision.
Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring work meets building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as required.
Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and participate in training and safety meetings to build HVAC trade knowledge.
