HVAC Install Apprentice - Buckeye
About The Position
The HVAC Install Apprentice is responsible for completing high-quality HVAC system and product installations alongside the HVAC Lead Installer. The apprentice helps keep projects running smoothly and profitably, maintains a positive attitude, works to exceed client expectations, and seeks to learn the trade. The role includes following installation procedures, assisting with truck inventory, preparing equipment and materials, and completing assigned duties safely and efficiently. The apprentice must join the on-call rotation and may need to arrive early or stay late based on workload, weather, and season; mandatory Saturdays apply during the season.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Work toward EPA certification and obtain it within 3 months of employment.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and walk at various intervals.
- Ability to regularly lift loads up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Keep the company truck clean, inside and out.
- Join the on-call rotation.
- Pursue development opportunities through continued training and one-on-one coaching.
- Arrive at assignments on time to receive direction and prepare the truck and materials.
- Follow installation procedures and processes.
- Assist the Lead Installer with maintaining truck inventory.
- Tear down and recycle equipment and materials from the previous workday’s jobs.
- Be available to arrive early and/or stay late when workload requires, in varying weather conditions and depending on the season; work mandatory Saturdays during the season.
- Follow the Lead Installer’s direction in the client’s home.
- Safely and efficiently complete other duties as assigned.
- Have or be willing to obtain the proper certifications; the company can help with this.
