About The Position

Conrad Indianapolis is seeking a Human Resources / Training Manager to oversee the hotel’s daily HR function and help deliver a positive experience for team members and guests. The role manages HR operations including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and applicable regulations. The manager leads employee engagement efforts, oversees HR data and reporting, and supervises, coaches, and develops team members. The ideal candidate has two years of experience in a Training/HR Manager role, preferably in hospitality, and is bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and federal and local regulations.
• Lead employee relations and engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities.
• Oversee team member data management, track employment transitions, generate reports, and process unemployment claims.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements.
