Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent HR experience may be considered.
4 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a similar role.
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and performance management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees and leadership.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and the ability to learn and effectively utilize HRIS and timekeeping systems.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day recruitment activities, including creating and posting job openings, reviewing candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews, and communicating with applicants.
Coordinate reference checks, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
Partner with supervisors to support staffing needs and ensure an effective hiring process.
Coordinate the onboarding process from the offer through the employee’s first day.
Ensure all required employment paperwork, background checks, and onboarding requirements are completed and properly documented.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
Prepare and process employee documentation, including offer letters, employee changes, corrective actions, and separation documents.
Serve as a resource for employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and general workplace questions.
Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflict resolution, attendance, performance, and corrective action.
Partner with leadership to ensure employee matters are handled consistently, professionally, and in accordance with company policies.
Support the performance management process, including employee evaluations, performance concerns, corrective actions, and documentation.
Provide supervisors with guidance regarding employee performance and policy expectations.
Assist with maintaining consistent performance management practices throughout the organization.
Lead and manage all aspects of employee benefits administration, including annual renewals, plan evaluation and negotiation, vendor and broker relationships, open enrollment, employee enrollments, benefit changes, and qualifying life events.
Respond to employee questions regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Maintain accurate benefit records and assist employees with resolving benefit-related issues.
Maintain a working knowledge of company timekeeping policies, including overtime, breaks, paid time off, and time-off accruals.
Review timekeeping information for accuracy and assist supervisors and employees with time and attendance questions.
Support payroll processing and ensure employee changes and applicable payroll information are accurately documented.
Maintain knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Assist with the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure HR documentation and practices are completed consistently and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Prepare employee communications, announcements, reports, and other HR-related documentation.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support organizational and employee needs.
