About The Position

On behalf of a client, two experienced Human Resources Generalists are sought to support a high-volume retail store environment in Chino Hills, California. One position requires fluency in English and Chinese, and the other requires fluency in English and Spanish.

The role serves as the primary HR resource for store leadership and employees. It supports business operations and workforce engagement through employee relations, investigations, performance management, employment-law compliance, Workers’ Compensation, leave administration, and return-to-work programs. The successful candidate will be hands-on and employee-facing, able to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience in retail, supermarkets, restaurants, manufacturing, warehouse, or other high-volume hourly workforce environments.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law, wage and hour regulations, meal and rest break requirements, and leave laws.
• Experience handling employee relations investigations and Workers’ Compensation cases.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese or English and Spanish is required.

Nice To Haves

• PHR-CA certification preferred.

Responsibilities
