About The Position

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide clerical and administrative support in the Human Resources Department. This role will focus on associate engagement, recruitment, training, compliance, and onboarding processes, all in alignment with Omni standards. The position is located at the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa, a premier destination in the Texas Hill Country known for its luxury, leisure, and world-class hospitality. Requirements

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coach, counsel, advise, mentor, and motivate associates and managers at all levels.
  • Flexibility with schedule to include some weekends.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 1-year Human Resources Experience Preferred
  • Bilingual Preferred

  • High Volume Hotel Operations Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Tracking, onboarding, and processing of new hires into the UltiPro HRIS.
  • Professionally and warmly interacting with all guests to the Human Resources Office.
  • Providing administrative support to the HR Director and HR leadership.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process in collaboration with the corporate team, HR team, and hiring managers.
  • Maintaining and conducting audits of associate trackers and logs (e.g., New Hire Tracker, Promotion/Transfer Logs).
  • Ensuring proper backgrounds and pre-employment processes are followed.
  • Ensuring all New Associate Files have appropriate paperwork, signed acknowledgments, and applicable licenses/certificates.
  • Maintaining department logs, binders, and employee files.
  • Entering and maintaining all associate data into UltiPro (HRIS).
  • Maintaining orderliness of office supplies and equipment and placing requisitions through Birchstreet Inventory Procurement.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department.
  • Championing Omni culture on property and enthusiastically promoting opportunities within the hotel and company.
  • Facilitating a culture of praise and recognition by assisting with the implementation of various employee recognition programs.
  • Participating in the Hotel Orientation Program.
  • Completing other duties as assigned by management.
