About The Position

Hytrol is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The role supports employees and leaders across key HR functions, including leave administration, attendance management, recruiting, employee relations, and other HR programs. The Generalist works closely with HR leadership, managers, employees, and external partners to address workplace concerns, support HR processes, and maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies. The position is suited to an approachable, organized, proactive HR professional who can manage competing priorities in a busy manufacturing environment.

Requirements

3–5 years of Human Resources experience.
Working knowledge of FMLA administration, employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Responsibilities

Provide daily support to employees and leaders by answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with HR-related matters.
Coordinate FMLA administration with the company’s third-party leave administrator, including employee and leader communication, documentation follow-up, and return-to-work coordination.
Administer other forms of leave, including bereavement, military leave, and company-provided leave programs.
Manage weekly attendance processes, including running and distributing attendance reports, reviewing attendance-related matters, and preparing documentation for review with the Human Resources Manager.
Serve as the primary HR contact for the employee uniform program, communicating with employees, resolving issues, and coordinating with the uniform vendor.
Coordinate the employee service award program, including tracking eligibility and supporting award distribution and celebrations.
Support employee relations matters, including policy interpretation, documentation, investigations, corrective action, and termination processes, in partnership with HR leadership and management.
Facilitate recruitment for assigned positions, including posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers during selection.
Provide backup facilitation of new hire orientation and onboarding when the Onboarding Specialist is unavailable.
Support HR events, initiatives, and special projects as capacity allows.
Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and established HR procedures.
