About The Position

VP Racing is seeking a full-time on-site Human Resources Generalist to join their team at their Texas Plant location in Elmendorf, Texas. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the organization's human resources functions and ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies. This position will partner with management and employees to provide guidance on HR programs, employee relations, payroll administration, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, safety, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field and at least three (3) years of human resources experience in payroll administration, employee relations, recruiting, and benefits administration, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed to support business operations. Travel may include up to 25% of work time, depending on business needs
  • Extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll and maintain employee records throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
  • Coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verification.
  • Administer benefits, leave programs, and other HR-related services.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and policy enforcement.
  • Support performance management, compensation, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain HR records, conduct audits, and prepare HR-related reports.
  • Coordinate employee training, engagement, and recognition programs.
  • Provide general HR support and perform other duties as assigned.
