Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

The HR Business Partner will provide functional support for all human resources activities at the location, serving as a strategic partner to local site leadership. They will be responsible for driving business performance, improving talent and performance management, retention, and workforce planning. Additionally, they will handle the entire employee life cycle, act as a single point of contact for employees and leadership, and collaborate with local site leaders to create a safe and inclusive work environment. The HR Business Partner will also be involved in recruiting and utilizing an applicant tracking system to track and correspond with candidates.

• Handle the entire employee life cycle, including employee issues, termination, and disciplinary procedures
• Act as a single point of contact for employees, applicants, and leadership, answering questions and providing support while conforming to labor laws
• Identify gaps and propose changes to cover risks in collaboration with HR Director
• Collaborate with local site leaders to drive business performance and create innovative solutions
• Recruit the general labor group for the site and utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track and correspond with candidates
• Schedule interviews with candidates and assist with new hire set up and orientation
• Keep HR and site leaders informed of onboarding and any issues
• Update recruitment tracker and time-to-fill spreadsheets
• Drive the 30/60/90-day reviews and assist in training, development, and support of employees
• Maintain employee personnel files and protect confidential information
• Support HR Director with payroll/paycheck issues and questions
• Partner with site leaders and Talent Team to ensure effective talent acquisition strategies
• Support investigations and administer processes in compliance with legal requirements and government regulations
• Gather and analyze data related to absenteeism and turnover for process improvement.

Experience in human resources activities and administration of policies and procedures

Ability to serve as a strategic partner to local site leadership

Knowledge and experience in talent and performance management, retention, and workforce planning

Ability to handle employee issues, termination, and disciplinary procedures

Knowledge of labor laws and ability to conform to them

Ability to identify gaps and propose and implement changes to cover risks

Collaboration skills to work with local site leaders and drive business performance

Experience in recruiting and utilizing applicant tracking systems

Ability to schedule and conduct interviews and manage onboarding

Knowledge of payroll and ability to support payroll/paycheck issues and questions

Experience in training, development, and support of employees

Ability to maintain employee personnel files and protect confidential information

Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies and ability to implement them

Experience in conducting investigations and following up on action items

Knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
