About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to support multiple fast-paced dealership locations in Minnesota. The role supports onboarding, new-hire paperwork, employee-file maintenance, benefits, and other human resources administrative processes. The administrator reports to the HR Manager and Controller and works in partnership with Corporate HR and the corporate benefits team.

Requirements

Three to five years of previous Human Resources Administrator or Generalist experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with employees at all levels and work well on a team.
Strong technical skills, including the ability to run reports.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Retail or automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer human resource plans and procedures for organization personnel.
Handle employee-relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews in partnership with Corporate HR.
Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
Assist in evaluating departmental reports, decisions, and results against established goals.
Recommend approaches, policies, and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and services.
Maintain human resource information system records and compile database reports.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Manage FMLA, ADA, and leave-of-absence processes in partnership with the corporate benefits team.
Work on special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Conduct onboarding classes at multiple locations.
