This role is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. The manager will implement the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training. They will also ensure compliance with company HR policies, maintain HR documents, and research HR-related issues. Additionally, the role involves supervising and developing associates and leaders, managing and coordinating training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The manager will foster a culture of belonging, attract and retain talent, and act with integrity, ethics, and compliance, supporting Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company. They will also strive for excellence by driving continuous improvements and adopting new technologies.
