This role is responsible for managing the daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll. The position involves implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training. It also requires maintaining quality and safety standards, identifying and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and supervising and developing associates and leaders. A key aspect of this role is managing and coordinating training for Distribution and/or Transportation associates, including new hire orientation, computer-based learning modules, and virtual classroom sessions. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of belonging, and acting with integrity to uphold Walmart's values and contribute to its goal of becoming a regenerative company.
