Requirements
- Completion of NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching”
- Completion of “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches”
- Completion of concussion certificate
- Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
- Completion of “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course
- Completion of NFHS COVID-19 Course
Nice To Haves
- ASEP Coaches Education Course completed prior to May 15, 2013
Responsibilities
- Complete NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position (unless ASEP Coaches Education Course was completed prior to May 15, 2013).
- Keep concussion certificate on file every year.
- Keep Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate on file every year.
- Complete "Fundamentals of Coaching" when applicable.
- Complete "First Aid, Health, & Safety" when applicable.
- Complete “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course annually.
- Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
