About The Position

This is a Boys Lacrosse assistant coach position. Non-faculty and Classified Employee Coaches are required to complete specific NFHS courses, including 'Fundamentals of Coaching' and 'First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches', prior to assuming the role. Exceptions are made for those who completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course before May 15, 2013. Additionally, coaches must maintain updated certificates for Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest annually. New requirements include the 'NFHS Heat Illness Prevention' course and the 'NFHS COVID-19 Course' for all coaches.

Requirements

• Completion of NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching”
• Completion of “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches”
• Concussion Certificate
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
• Completion of “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course
• Completion of the NFHS COVID-19 Course

Nice To Haves

• Successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013

Responsibilities

• Complete the “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course and keep a copy on file every year.
• Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
