Requirements
- Completion of NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching”
- Completion of “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches”
- Completion of "NFHS Heat Illness Prevention" course
- Completion of NFHS COVID-19 Course
- Concussion Certificate
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate
Nice To Haves
- ASEP Coaches Education Course completed prior to May 15, 2013
Responsibilities
- Complete NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position (unless ASEP Coaches Education Course was completed prior to May 15, 2013).
- Maintain concussion certificates on file annually.
- Maintain Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificates on file annually.
- Maintain completion certificates for "Fundamentals of Coaching" on file when applicable.
- Maintain completion certificates for "First Aid, Health, & Safety" on file when applicable.
- Complete the "NFHS Heat Illness Prevention" course annually.
- Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
