About The Position

This is a head coach position for a girls' high school softball team.

Requirements

• Completion of NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching”
• Completion of NFHS “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches”
• Completion of concussion certificate
• Completion of Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificate
• Completion of NFHS “Heat Illness Prevention” course
• Completion of NFHS COVID-19 Course

Nice To Haves

• Successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013

Responsibilities

• Complete NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position (unless ASEP Coaches Education Course was completed prior to May 15, 2013).
• Maintain a copy of the concussion certificate on file every year.
• Maintain a copy of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificate on file every year.
• When applicable, maintain a copy of the completion of "Fundamentals of Coaching" on file.
• When applicable, maintain a copy of the completion of "First Aid, Health, & Safety" on file.
• Complete the NFHS “Heat Illness Prevention” course annually.
• Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
