Requirements
- Completion of "Fundamentals of Coaching" (if applicable)
- Completion of "First Aid, Health, & Safety" (if applicable)
- Completion of “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course (if applicable)
- Completion of NFHS COVID-19 Course
Nice To Haves
- Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
Responsibilities
- Complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position.
- Keep concussion Certificate on file every year.
- Keep Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate on file every year.
- Complete the “NFHS Heat Illness Prevention” course annually.
- Complete the NFHS COVID-19 Course.
