About The Position

The Kraft Heinz Trainee Program is a ten-month leadership development program designed for high-performing, ambitious, and creative individuals ready to lead the future of food and beverage. Throughout the program, Trainees will gain an end-to-end understanding of the business, collaborate across departments to grow iconic brands, and build their legacy at Kraft Heinz. The program includes immersive onboarding, two 4-month project rotations, leadership development based on WIN principles, and a week of professional development for transition into a full-time role. Trainees will have opportunities to meet with senior executives, receive mentorship, collaborate with international trainees, and engage in curated learning experiences. HR Trainees will partner with business leaders and employees to identify opportunities and deliver people-focused improvements, with potential projects in talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement, learning and development, employer branding, and belonging. HR Trainees will be based in Chicago, IL, with one project rotation at a field location. Final placement for HR roles will be in Chicago, IL, with availability at sales offices, manufacturing plants, or research and development centers.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and employees to identify opportunities and deliver people-focused improvements that strengthen organizational health and performance.
  • Work on projects that may include talent acquisition and onboarding enhancements, workforce planning and analytics, employee engagement initiatives, learning and development program support, employer branding and belonging efforts.
  • Own a clearly defined project scope.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Share results through regular updates and an end-of-program presentation.
  • Live out the Kraft Heinz values as cultural champions and future leaders.
  • Complete one of their project rotations at a field location (i.e. sales office, manufacturing plant, research and development facility).
