About The Position

The Kraft Heinz Trainee Program is a ten-month leadership development program designed for high-performing, ambitious, and creative individuals ready to lead the future of food and beverage. The program includes immersive onboarding, project rotations, leadership development, and a transition into a full-time role upon completion. Trainees will gain an understanding of the business, collaborate across departments, and develop their leadership skills. Throughout the program, there will be opportunities to meet with senior executives, receive mentorship, collaborate with international trainees, and participate in curated learning experiences. Finance Trainees will partner with business stakeholders to identify value-creation opportunities and deliver analytics-driven improvements that strengthen financial performance and decision-making. Projects may involve budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cost initiatives, working-capital optimization, performance reporting, and finance process automation. Trainees typically own a defined project scope, collaborate cross-functionally, and present their results. Finance Trainees will be based in Chicago, IL, with one project rotation at a field location, for which housing is provided. Final placement will be in Chicago, IL, with availability at sales offices, manufacturing plants, or research and development centers, based on business needs and trainee preferences.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree with anticipated graduation between November 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify value-creation opportunities.
  • Deliver analytics-driven improvements that strengthen financial performance and decision-making.
  • Engage in projects such as budgeting and forecasting enhancements, profitability and pricing analysis, cost and productivity initiatives, working-capital optimization, performance reporting and dashboarding, and finance process automation and controls.
  • Own a clearly defined project scope.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Share results through regular updates and an end-of-program presentation.
  • Live out Kraft Heinz values as cultural champions and future leaders.
  • Complete one project rotation at a field location (e.g., sales office, manufacturing plant, research and development facility).
