About The Position

The HR Recruiter provides full-cycle recruiting and administrative support for human resources, potentially supporting one or more manufacturing locations. Responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, making offers, and assisting in other HR areas as needed. The role supports recruiting strategies to achieve required staffing levels and may offer quick growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience with full-cycle recruiting.
• Strong geographic knowledge of the Plainfield, CT, and surrounding areas.
• Strong industry knowledge.
• Ability to engage talent at all levels in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize requisitions.
• Good working ability with MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Manufacturing experience; truck body manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and offering.
• Support recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
• Provide potential applicants with information about company operations and job opportunities.
• Conduct initial screening and obtain applicants’ work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
• Refer qualified applicants to hiring managers for interviews.
• Schedule interviews.
• Correspond with job applicants about opportunities.
• Maintain records of recruiting activities.
• Attend local job fairs and hiring events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
