About The Position

This role reports directly to the SVP of HR and serves as a key operational partner within the Human Resources organization. The position supports HR leadership and helps deliver an outstanding employee experience at Dematic's Grand Rapids campus. It combines HR operations, executive support, communications, employee engagement, and project coordination to support HR priorities and day-to-day business operations.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in HR coordination, executive support, office administration, project coordination, or a similar business support function.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, and AI-enabled efficiency tools.
• Proven track record coordinating projects, meetings, events, and administrative processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of HR initiatives and cross-functional projects by coordinating collaborators, maintaining timelines and action trackers, and driving follow-through on key results.
• Support HR leadership with executive communications, calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, and expense administration.
• Assist with HR reporting, communications, and employee inquiries.
• Coordinate logistics for leadership meetings, team events, employee experience and engagement initiatives, and business reviews.
• Prepare meeting materials, presentations, reports, dashboards, and follow-up action items.
• Develop and coordinate HR communications, employee meetings, and engagement activities.
• Assess progress against milestones and coordinate follow-through across teams.
• Support town halls, leadership forums, and organizational communications.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for HR leadership.
• Process and manage expense reporting in accordance with company policies.
