About The Position

Vertiv’s Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska’s manufacturing facility is seeking an HR/Admin Coordinator that will serve as a key operational resource within the Human Resources department and larger office environment while providing day-to-day support across a broad range of HR and administrative functions including onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance, and general HR administration. This role is integral to maintaining accurate HR data and delivering a positive employee experience throughout the organization. Reporting to the HRBP Manager, the HR Coordinator acts as a first point of contact for general employee inquiries, supports the HR umbrella with process execution, and helps ensure the organization remains in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, administrative support, office coordination, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or active pursuit thereof.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Oracle HCM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience with event planning, meeting coordination, or onboarding administration.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a first point of contact for general employee questions, directing inquiries to appropriate resources as needed.
  • Assist in leading and facilitating the MECC (morale, engagement, and communication committee).
  • Assist with employee recognition programs, engagement surveys, and internal events.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all HR-related information, including personnel records and sensitive employee matters.
  • Order and manage office and HR department supplies/needs.
  • Provide administrative support for HR matters, including: investigations, event management, meeting coordination, and expense processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (physical and electronic) in compliance with record retention requirements.
  • Promptly submit employee data changes (status, title, compensation, department, etc.) to the HRIS system.
  • Support benefits enrollment processes, open enrollment communications, and employee inquiries related to benefits.
  • Assist with the posting internal promotion opportunities.
  • Assist in coordinating interview scheduling, preparing interview materials, and reserving meeting rooms.
  • Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including new hire roster, badge creation along with proper building access, and first-day logistics with the Training Department.
  • Prepare new hire packets for full-time employees.
  • Assist with ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
  • Prepare standard HR reports, metrics, and data summaries as requested by HR leadership.
  • Attendance tracking — absences submissions, appropriate discipline, and Nebraska Sick Time monitoring
