About The Position

HP and 2020 Companies are hiring a part-time HP Retail Sales Associate to represent HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores. The role focuses on driving sales and creating excitement around the HP brand by demonstrating products, tailoring demonstrations to customers’ needs, building customer rapport, and maintaining professional relationships with store management and employees. The associate also trains store staff on HP products and services, maintains product displays, and reports sales activity and competitive insights.

The position pays $17.50 per hour, with an opportunity to earn a weekly performance bonus of up to $100 based on individual sales performance. The schedule is up to 15 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday preferred and possible flexible Friday hours depending on location needs. Paid online training and a monthly technology reimbursement of $25 are offered.

Requirements

• At least one year of job experience is required in the initial qualifications section.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience listed in the qualifications section.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Outgoing personality, eagerness to learn, and a tech-savvy, problem-solving approach.
• Comfort engaging customers and demonstrating products after training.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores.
• Engage customers, build rapport, and create a memorable experience.
• Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Keep displays clean, functional, and ready for demonstrations.
• Report sales activity and competitive insights.
• Sell products and services in retail stores, kiosks, and/or event environments.
• Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals and established weekly or monthly quotas.
• Welcome customers, offer assistance, assess their needs, and recommend suitable products and services.
• Provide product and service information and help customers make selections with confidence.
• Accurately document and report sales, track and communicate activity to Retail Operations, and submit complete and accurate paperwork.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain a clean, organized, functional, and presentable workstation or kiosk.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and fellow employees.
• Attend work regularly and promptly, and support customer satisfaction while observing confidentiality requirements.
