About The Position

The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following the company mission and values. The role helps keep resort units, buildings, and storage areas clean, organized, and ready for guests. The Houseperson also supports resort guests and owners, responds to guest complaints, makes deliveries, and helps maintain a safe working environment. This position requires physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Stock storage closets and maintain their cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
• Prepare linen and supply bags and deliver them to units as directed.
• Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linens, trash, and equipment.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Move furniture as directed.
• Help ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Perform duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Maintain urgency so units are turned on time; be prompt with assignments and appointments.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
• Help resolve guest complaints promptly and build positive customer relations.
• Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
• Become knowledgeable about the resort.
