About The Position
The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by preparing units for cleaning after guest departures and helping maintain the company’s quality standards. The role handles linen duties and keeps department storage areas organized, maintained, clean, and safely stocked. The Houseperson follows the company safety program and applicable OSHA regulations, including the Global Harmonized System (GHS) for chemicals. The position provides housekeeping support throughout the resort to help ensure a clean environment for guests. Duties include assisting with supplies and unit amenities, delivering linen and requested items, and helping clean units as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude with a team focus.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide housekeeping throughout the resort to maintain cleanliness and a clean environment for guests.
- Prepare units for cleaning after guest departures.
- Assist the housekeeping team with supplies and deliver linen, paper products, and unit amenities.
- Strip and make beds, and assist with cleaning as needed.
- Remove trash from units and floors.
- Coordinate and create linen and amenities bags.
- Receive, sort, fold, and collect soiled linen.
- Organize, clean, and maintain department storage areas and stock levels according to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Deliver requested items to guest units, such as irons, coffee, paper products, and kitchen utensils.
- Follow the company safety program and OSHA regulations, including GHS requirements for chemicals.
